Introduction to ARMA

Who we are

The Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Alliance (ARMA) is the UK wide alliance for musculoskeletal (MSK) health. We bring together charities, professional organisations, research institutions and industry partners to improve the lives of the 20 million people living with MSK conditions.

MSK health is fundamental to how people live, work and age well. Yet despite its scale and impact, it has too often been overlooked in national policy and system priorities. ARMA exists to change that.

We provide a collective voice for the MSK community, working with government, the NHS and system leaders to ensure MSK health is recognised as a foundation of prevention, independence and economic participation.

What we do

Better MSK health is essential to a healthier nation. ARMA exists to help make that happen.

ARMA works across the MSK community to convene, collaborate and campaign for better MSK health.

Convene

We bring people and organisations together to connect, share learning and find common ground.

Collaborate

We develop shared priorities and solutions that no single organisation could achieve alone.

Campaign

We influence policy and decision makers to make MSK health a national priority.
